Overview

Your sales pixel has a few different uses. It tracks website visitor page view history in addition to allowing you to add chat widgets to your website(s). Learn more about the functions of the Sales Intelligence Pixel as well as FAQs here.

Finding Your Pixel Script

Each source you add or connect within CloseBot has its own Sales Intelligence Pixel. This pixel should be added to sites related to that source. The pixel itself can be found within your source settings, by clicking on any source and then clicking setup.

Adding Your Script to Websites

This script must be copied and pasted into your site header. Check these resources if you need help identifying how to add the script to headers of various site builders.

For help adding scripts to your header, please contact your website builder for assistance.

Allowed Domains List

By default, we ignore all sites with your pixel. We do this for your own security. You must add websites where you would like your pixel to be detectable manually within the allowed domains section of the setup page.

Root domains β†’ Adding a root domain will allow any URL at that primary domain, not including www (example.com)

Sub domains β†’ Adding a sub domain will allow any URL at that particular sub domain (www.example.com)

Wildcard Sub Domains β†’ Adding an asterisk (*) in front of your domain allows all sub-domains (*.example.com would allow www.example.com, app.example.com, and all others)

Note: If you are doing local testing, you will want to add localhost while testing, but remove it when not testing.

Pixel Detection

Once the pixel has been detected, you will see the detection information within the setup section. This lets you know that the pixel has been installed successfully and is working on that website.

If your pixel is not found after instillation, inspect the raw website HTML to see if the pixel appears within your website header code.
