Overview
You may want to have a transcript of the conversation saved to the contact record to use for meeting prep or your own notes. The Chat Transcript Tool lets you continuously update a field whenever a new message is sent by either the contact or the agent. This setting can be found in the Tools tab of the action bar within the Job Flow.
Set Up
In your agent's Job Flow, click on the tool Icon under your actions tab. Like other Tools, you will need to click on the tool to activate it. Chat Transcript like Chat Summary will have one more step to finish the set up.
On the right side of the screen you will see the Active Tool icon. By clicking on that icon, you can access your Output Variable selection field. Here you can choose the contact property that you want to update with this tool.
