Overview
Reports allow you to see things at a glance that matter to you. Each report can contain unlimited different dashboard tabs. Each of these dashboard tabs contains charts. This article explains each of these as well as different chart types, metrics and filters. Learning these will help you set up dashboards that give you insights into how your Sales Agents are performing, what they are costing and more!
Reports
Reports are in the side panel when you first navigate to the reports area of the platform. Create a new report, which can contain different dashboard tabs.
Permissions
The primary account owner can modify any report. Team members are only able to modify reports they create.
Dashboards
Dashboards live within reports. Dashboards hold a collection of charts to show you what you want to see. Create a new dashboard within a report by clicking the "+" next to the dashboard tabs.
You can choose to create a dashboard from scratch or start from one of our templates. Some templates are locked if you do not have the Analytics Add-On.
Charts
There are several different types of charts, that allow you to see your data in the format that's best for you. Each of these different chart types have additional settings that help you get the display you want.
We will show each of these as examples as we explain each of our different metrics below.
All of these functions are available via our API if you'd rather have your AI Agents set up your dashboards.
Metrics
There are many different metrics you can report on, as well as using the Formula metric if you need to create your own metric that's a combination of metrics (ex. AI Replies per Contact).
Filters
Each metric has its own filters. For example, if you are viewing the Total Outbound Message Count metric, you can filter by channel type, job flow that sent the message, persona that sent the message or entity (person vs. AI). If you are charting Document References, you can filter by document type, document title, job flow that referenced the document, or channel.
Segments
Any of the filters will also be available as Segmentation options as long as you only have one metric selected. This will automatically break the single chart into a segmented chart displaying all of the available filter options for the selected segment.
View the example below where we selected to see AI Spend segmented by channel where the cost was used.
Summary
Now that you know the different types of charts and the difference between a report and a dashboard, you're ready to build your perfect reports for you and your clients! See the detailed description of each metric here along with example uses for each đ
