CloseBot Classic has had a massive update. To experience this update, you'll have to take some manual action. This article gives you the step by step instruction on how to migrate and explains some changes to be aware of before migration.

After you migrate, the following will happen immediately:

  1. Your bots in CloseBot Classic will become locked

  2. You will not be able to modify your payment plan from the Classic user interface (must make plan adjustments from the new interface thereafter)

  3. Credits from CloseBot Classic will transfer

Your CloseBot Classic bots will continue to function until you publish your corresponding bot(s) in V2.

This migration cannot be reversed.

Step 1: Click to Migrate

When you're allowed to migrate, you'll see the button to migrate appear as blue in your CloseBot Classic sidebar. Click that button to be navigated to the CloseBot Migration page.

Step 2: Choose to Self Migrate or Schedule Help

You can migrate yourself or schedule a time for assistance if you are on a Standard Plan or Super Plan. Once you choose, you'll see checkboxes show up. It's important that you confirm that you understand each of these items before you migrate or schedule your migration.

GoHighLevel Workflows Don't Work with this Migration

It's important to keep in mind that CloseBot's update here does not use GoHighLevel workflows. If you have made modifications to the CloseBot workflow in CloseBot Classic, those modifications will not work after the migration. It's up to you to understand how to set up CloseBot after your migration to account for changes you made. Details about common modifications and how to adjust are explained here.

Sub-Accounts Cannot Make their Own Bots (Now Agents)

In CloseBot, sub-accounts are designed to be for businesses (not other agencies). The new interface of CloseBot does not allow for sub-accounts to edit the agents with the drag and drop builder. Instead, you will be setting up Custom Variables that they can edit that you can inject into the Agent Job Flow settings. This keeps the interface for businesses simple and easy to re-bill. Learn more about that decision here.

New Agents Won't Work Until You Publish Them

After you migrate, CloseBot Classic bots will continue to function until you publish the migrated AI Agent Job Flow in the new Job Flow builder interface. This allows you to modify and test the newly created agent prior to turning it on (which simultaneously disables your CloseBot Classic bot).

All Credits Are Transferred Immediately

Credits left in CloseBot Classic will immediately transfer during migration to your new V2 wallet. We will gift you $5.00 in your CloseBot Classic account to give your bots some juice to run off of until you publish your new Agents.

CloseBot's Upgrade Has New Usage Costs

These usage costs are minimal, but it's important for you to be aware of them. Usage costs are explained in detail here.

Step 3: Wait for Your Scheduled Migration Assistance or Migrate Yourself

Whether you choose to schedule migration assistance or migrate yourself, you'll end up navigating to the following window after clicking Migrate Now.

This window tells you what exactly is going to happen after you click Continue.

Step 4: Sign Up or Sign In

You will be re-routed to the sign up page for CloseBot's new system. You must create a new account unless you already have a V2 account from our beta program.

Step 5: Test and Publish Each AI Agent Job Flow

It may take some time for bots and sources to move over, but they will move over and agents will be created (combination of a job flow and a persona). Click on the Agent that you would like to test and enable. When you click to publish this agent job flow, that will simultaneously disable the corresponding bot in CloseBot Classic.
