Overview

Many people get hung up on the fact that CloseBot is purely responsive. Aside from follow-ups, CloseBot isn't going to be sending out a first message to your list... and that's not a big deal! It's easy for you to do a database reactivation or any type of outbound automation by sending the first message yourself (either manually or via an automation within your source) and CloseBot will be there when they respond.

Starting Reactivation

To start your reactivation campaign, you'll want to set up some way for your source to start sending outbound messages to contacts. Whether it be by email, text message or something else, CloseBot automatically supports all text-based chat channels that your connected source allows. When a message comes in from the contact, your agent will be there to respond.

When setting up your Job Flow, think about the contents of your initial message and how you can align that with your first objective. For example, if this is the kind of initial message you're sending, it would make sense to have our first objective be to determine whether or not they are interested.

Disqualifying Upon No Interest

Disqualifying a lead is very common, and very easy. There are multiple ways to do this. You could use a branch or switch to detect and split the conversation at a certain point in the conversation, or you can use a custom scenario to always be listening for your disqualifier. In this case, we used a custom scenario to always look for signs of disinterest, no matter where we are in the main job flow.

Collecting Necessary Information if not Disqualified

If this lead is still in the main flow, they must not be showing signs of disinterest... so it's time to collect any blank information before booking them for an appointment. We put all of these pieces of information into one objective so the agent can ask for multiple pieces of information and update multiple fields in our CRM (source) at once.

Booking the Appointment

Next, we are using a booking action to conversationally book this contact in to an appointment and continuing the conversation from there with a conversation action.

Handling Disqualified Leads

We can't forget the fact that we need to handle disqualified leads! If a lead does show that they aren't interested, we want to add the tag not interested and stop responding. Without the stop responding action, the agent would jump back up to the main flow after finishing the custom scenario flow.

Summary

Things like lead qualification or custom scenarios that can be challenging with other platforms are smooth as butter in CloseBot 🧈 Let us know in our Facebook Group how your handling lead qualification for your reactivation campaigns!
