CloseBot no longer allows sub-accounts to have full edit access of AI Agents. CloseBot's intent was for sub-accounts to be sold to businesses, not other agencies. More on that HERE. CloseBot's re-imagined user interface makes it easier than ever to re-sell, monitor and deploy expert-level AI Agents to the businesses that need them most.
IMPORTANT: Neither of these options can be undone
Sub-accounts under your CloseBot Classic account that want access to CloseBot's newest features have 2 options:
1. You Migrate Them Under Your New CloseBot Agency Account
β οΈ Before doing this, migrate your own account from CloseBot Classic. You must migrate your own account before you can migrate sub-accounts from CloseBot Classic. You will still be able to edit your White Label settings page after you migrate, but your bots and other settings in CloseBot Classic will be disabled.
If you migrate a sub-account over from CloseBot Classic, that sub-account's bots and source will be moved into your CloseBot account (V2). You perform this migration on behalf of the client by clicking the Migrate Now button on that user row.
After clicking the button, you will be redirected to the migration page where you must review and confirm that you understand the implications of migrating.
After you click Continue you will be routed to the CloseBot sign in page.
IMPORTANT: You should have migrated your primary account before attempting to migrate your subaccounts.
After you sign in, you'll notice the sources and agents (persona + job flow pair) have already been created and knowledge uploads attached. The last step will be to publish the job flow(s). When you do this, CloseBot Classic will automatically stop responding and the new CloseBot account will handle the message traffic π
You can test the new agent within the testing portal and edit accordingly prior to publishing the new agent. With the many upgrades that V2 has, it may behave differently than the CloseBot Classic counterpart.

2. You Input Your Affiliate Link and Allow Sub-Accounts to Migrate and Become a CloseBot Customer
This is the option that sub-accounts must be allowed to do if they want to modify their own agents. See more on that HERE. This also means we will be sending them emails from this point on if you enable this for sub-accounts.
The first step here is to let us know what your affiliate link is (if you want to get affiliate credit for the customer when/ if they get a paid CloseBot account).
You can sign up or sign in to your affiliate account HERE
Copy that affiliate link and paste it into the affiliate link input box within your CloseBot Classic White Label settings page.
Click on any subaccounts that you would like to allow to migrate to their own CloseBot account. They will have to buy their own CloseBot account and will be attributed to your affiliate link if you've saved that link as shown above.
Each time you elect to allow to self migrate on a sub-account, you will be prompted with a warning. If you would like to bulk-allow, please contact support and they can update sub-accounts in bulk on your behalf.
Once this option is enabled, sub-account users will see the migration button in the side bar of their account just as you do in your account. When they follow the migration process themselves, they will do so being attached to your affiliate account. They will have to purchase their own CloseBot account for the new version of CloseBot.
You can make this the default for all new sub-accounts by enabling this option within your white label settings as shown below.
Summary
Learn more about the exact process to migrate a single normal account HERE. This update to CloseBot sub-accounts is something we've been announcing for the past 6 months and it's not something we take lightly. Thank you for your cooperation and we are excited to be focused on building a tool that allows you to scale your Agency as it sells AI Agents to more and more business owners in need! π
